Being my own boss means I make very important, hi-level decisions on a daily basis, decisions like choosing a business mascot. All sound and well-rounded business plans must include a mascot, especially in this economy.

I want you all to know, I have made this decision. Meet Fritz, my dog, and the only male allowed in the studio.

When Fritz first entered the studio world he had a steep learning curve ahead of him--the world of lingerie, photography, posing and champagne is a challenging one, only those with extreme fortitude need apply.

Here Fritz ponders an important question, "garters or no garters?"

Michaela came to the studio a while back and she instantly became my it-girl. This Navy Air Traffic Controller might want to reconsider her day job because she's a natural in front of the camera and she'd never done a photoshoot before. She's also absoluteley gorgeous and I swear on my life I did not enhance her eyes! She's stunning!

Lauren, the queen of all things scheduling, hand holding and cosemetic also serves a stand-in when I'm setting up lights. I like this kookterious (kooky yet mysterious) image of her, I think she will too.

I love the challenge of coming up with how I'm going to photograph each new client. With each outfit change I always mix things up and customize the shooting space to go with the outfit and mood we're after. Carli's session was a perfect example of the range of shooting I do.

Carli brought some surprising get-ups to studio, including a German beer wench outfit and her 911 dispatcher uniform. The image with the tulle tutu on her head was my idea--a left over prop from a ballet shoot we did a while back. I thought we could go for a Russian winter princess, which was challenging because we were laughing so hard.

And with that Ladies and Gents, I present the lovely Carli.

Beth came to the studio way back in October (yes, I'm way behind blogging) but I thought I'd share her beautiful visage and body (I'll opt to not use the French word for body in this case). Beth is a nurse at Harborview, one of many health care professionals to come to the studio lately (There was a 2 week stretch from Oct-Nov were we almost every client was either a nurse, a PA or a doctor).

Anyway, Beth decided to do a session for the best reason--namely, a celebration of herself!

I'm always so honored when any women chooses me to photograph her, but women who do a session for themselves hold a special place in my heart.

And with that Ladies and Gents, I present Beth!

Recently I had the chance to pay a visit to my client Lisa--I delivered her prints, large prints, as in 30x40 large. I'm feeling giddy because Lisa was kind enough to agree to letting me post her images which I'm super excited about because, well, she's beautiful, and a mother of 3 I might add.
