I photographed Krissy and Chris’ wedding at The Palace Ballroom this weekend. Here is one image I took of Krissy in an alley behind the W Hotel where they got ready.

Here is the whole set of Annie & Ryan’s engagement portraits in the downtown Bellevue area. Annie and Ryan were a lot of fun to photograph. They are very happy together and up for whatever I had in mind - including laying down on the ground in a parking lot! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next month!
This image was taken at the top of the Bellevue Square parking garage.
I liked this image. The texture comes from shooting through a chain link fence.
This was my favorite image of Ryan that I took that day. I like the lines of the fence, posts, and his shoulders.
Right in the middle of Bellevue, there is a Safeway that is going to be demolished soon. Perfect spot for a portrait!
Krissy and Chris are a great couple that are getting married in just a few weeks. For their engagement portraits, they wanted a few black and white images on a white background. So, I went to their home, set up my trusty studio lights and a white muslin (big ole piece of white cloth) to start the session. After some miscues (my background frame is eight feet tall and the original space to set up in was only 7 necessitating a change in location and some furniture moving), we rocked out some studio portraits. Here is one from that part of the session.

So today I wanted to play around a little in Photoshop. I randomly chose a photograph of Brian who will be one of my grooms this summer. This is from our recent engagement portrait session at Golden Gardens with his future better half, Carly. Here is the before and after photographs.
The Golf Club at Newcastle is one of my favorite places to photograph a wedding. This is good, since it is one of the most populare locations for a wedding in the Seattle area. Newcastle sits high atop a hill just south of Bellevue with amazing views of Lake Washington and Seattle.
