If you are considering a destination wedding and want a mountain location you will do well in considering La Hacienda Taina. What a beautiful setting for a wedding! Right in the middle of Puerto Rico's "Cordillera Central" lush green rolling hills, well, mountains. 

Jayuya itself is a quite, peaceful, sleepy town. They do not even have a traffic light! No fast food places (just a BK). Loved the place, except for the many sharp curves that leads to town. Maybe it is what kept the town safe from "bad influences" from outsiders. It was quite a journey getting in as well as getting out. 

Laura is from Jayuya while Julio is from San Juan. They met and fell in love while studying at the School of Medicine of "La Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara", Mexico. We had a lot of fun documenting Laura & julio wedding and getting to know their families. Here are some of my favorite shots from the wedding.
