Colorful Atherton wedding in the backyard of the family home - 05/29/10 12:56 PM
I simply can't live without photographing sentimental wedding stories! The bride's parents, who are sadly no longer with us, were married at the same spot years before, and the whole wedding was filled with reminders of them, and you could definitely feel they were there in spirit and inspiration! I love it when my clients let me into the magical world that is their wedding day - I feel for those hours like I am a part of the family, and trusted to capture everything they want to remember their special day! Every time I photograph a wedding at V. Sattui Winery in charming St. Helena, California, I am reminded of how much I love wine country weddings. The light is especially perfect for wedding photography at V. Sattui - the golden sun kissing the rolling hills of grapevines, the beautiful stone architecture, and completely amazing courtyard and grounds. The right wedding florist can create a lush landscape for your wedding like this incredible red carpet of rose petals... you could smell them from upstairs, and it was almost as intoxicating as a good bottle of wine! I love it when a bride chooses a hip, modern and bold color for her wedding because it leads to unforgettable imagery! I can't wait to photograph at V. Sattui again! For more images from this V.
