V. Sattui Winery Weddings | Modern, Stylish wedding | Napa Valley - 02/23/10 08:57 PM
Every time I photograph a wedding at V. Sattui Winery in charming St. Helena, California, I am reminded of how much I love wine country weddings. The light is especially perfect for wedding photography at V. Sattui - the golden sun kissing the rolling hills of grapevines, the beautiful stone architecture, and completely amazing courtyard and grounds. The right wedding florist can create a lush landscape for your wedding like this incredible red carpet of rose petals... you could smell them from upstairs, and it was almost as intoxicating as a good bottle of wine! I love it when a bride chooses a hip, modern and bold color for her wedding because it leads to unforgettable imagery! I can't wait to photograph at V. Sattui again! For more images from this V. One of my album "babies" goes to its rightful home... I put so much heart and soul into every wedding I photograph, and it doesn't stop there... Since I feel so connected to my couples, having been chosen to document such an intimate day in their lives, I can't imagine anyone else creating their love story book but me... This beautiful book went home today... an amazing clouded glass cover with exquisite leather details, and a really beautiful design. Ginny, the lovely bride, took it out of its box, and just looked at the cover and said that would have been enough for her, but continued to glow as she paged through it, commenting on how it totally reflected their style as a couple, and pausing to remember the memories the images invoked. This weekend was the first wedding of the year for me, and I spent it in the lovely Napa Valley at Silverado Country Club for Tim and Io's wedding with my friend Jill Doherty. What a perfect wine country wedding day, and a bride with a sense of fashion and style that made it easy for us to create fresh, hip wedding images for a couple whose passion was contagious!
