Old Hollywood wedding locations in Los Angeles. - 12/04/08 12:31 AM
Jessica and Patrick's ceremony was in a grand old church, St. Charles.
Then they had their reception in another grand old church, Vibiana.
Both locations were built and decorated in the early 20th century,
and had a classic beauty that reminded me of old Hollywood.
However, I wouldn't say the proceedings were pious.
The groomsmen all worse Converse sneakers and
the bridesmaids were dressed in happy shades of plum.
I had a blast taking portraits of people in the vintage confessional booths.
There was a chic Italian cookie buffet with bags to fill and take home.
Even better, the cookies were homemade by all of Jessica's Italian aunts.
I think the word got out about it, because guests were lining up for cookies.
