Great danes, recycled Japanese lanterns and vintage flower pins. DIY wedding on Lake Michigan. - 11/29/08 10:33 AM
Jenifer and Scott invited family and friends and a few great danes to their wedding on Lake Michigan. Everyone stayed in rustic cabins for that summer camp feel, with the beach just steps away. Everyone lent a hand to help decorate for this DIY wedding. The decorations were eBay finds: recycled Japanese lanterns, vintage Mason jars and lots of cheerful porcelain flower pins from the 1960s. The favors were towels with great danes embroidered on them and wouldn't you know it, the ringbearer was Blue, from Scott's great dane rescue efforts. Fireworks on the beach kept the party going.

Classy chic wedding at The Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica. - 11/21/08 12:42 PM

Julie and Tim love to laugh and so do all of their friends and family.
Made for a playful, relaxed wedding day.

The ceremony was at Saint Monica Church…built in 1926 and featured in movies.  
The reception at The Fairmont Miramar on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific ocean.

Julie’s bouquet had succulents in it (created by My Secret Garden)
and there was a vintage photobooth (PhotoboothScrapbooks) that was a big hit.
