Cat and Matt were totally up for a fun Day After portrait session on Caddo Lake in East Texas. Matt’s family has been around Caddo Lake for generations. We went cruising around in a boat, looking for fun places to do portraits. A wedding in Uncertain, Texas? Cat and Matt met while attending Camp Fern and later became counselors. It’s a place that is special to them, so it made sense to have a wedding (and a big party) at the camp. The cabins were built in the 1930s and have many cool retro details. Cat and Matt kept the rest of their wedding details simple to match the feeling of this nifty place: a Melissa Sweet dress, cocktails on the dock and flower balls hanging from the pine trees.

Jenn and Nate live in Chicago with their dog Sprout. What better way to get out of the cold, then to have their wedding in Texas and in the sweet little town of Comfort. Everyone came together at Riven Rock Ranch for the big day. Sprout, of course, was the ringbearer.
Jenn and Nate share a love of food, which meant they had to have fantastic food, including tamales, queso loco and pie instead of cake. Plus plenty of Shiner Bock and Rio Blanco Pale Ale.
