The "First Look" - 07/21/11 11:41 AM
When a couple is doing all their portraits before the ceremony I usually suggest a "first look" - a time where the bride and groom can share a few special moments before the frenzy of the wedding day and an opportunity to get that first glimpse of each other! Sometimes the bride likes to walk to the groom and sometimes the groom will go meet the bride; either way it's usually emotional and beautiful and a great photo opportunity.

What do you do when you only have five minutes to photograph the bride and groom together? To me these are some of the most important images of the day but this couple loves their family and wanted lots of group shots so in the end, five minutes was all we had. We just looked for the cool light and had them interact with each other which took their mind off the waiting limo parked right in front of us. Time, Shmime. Sometimes, lighting and a couple in love is all you need to make magic!
