Angus Barn Wedding - 01/06/11 11:09 AM
Every once in a while I get an opportunity to photograph a totally unique wedding venue with a client. My last wedding of 2010 was only the 2nd ever Angus Barn Wedding held in their wine cellar. To give you a better mental image, the wine cellar is comprised of 3 rooms – two separate dining rooms with long tables seating 26 & 34 people each. Between the two rooms is the world famous wine cellar with over 1000 bottles of exquisite wines from across the world. Having free reign in a place such as this really made for some beautiful, unique and dramatic wedding photos!

After a much needed rest from a busy spring/summer wedding season, I started up the fall wedding season with a much anticipated Angus Barn Pavilion Wedding. The Angus Barn is a world famous, well, barn, that is headed by Chef Walter Royal - Iron Chef winner and boasts one of the largest wine selections in the country. The Angus Barn Pavilion is set apart from the Angus Barn itself making it an ideal place for both a wedding and reception. The pavilion is set on a lake and the building itself is, of course, another barn but this is open aired which allows for the cool lake breezes to flow thru the building in the spring/fall.
The wedding ceremony was held on the water at Sunset and the hapily married couple celebrated with 125 of their friends and family in the pavilion barn. After the reception, they had a sparkler exit and left the compound in a classic Essex Super Six car. I hope you enjoy a few of the photos!
