Wake Chapel Wedding | Carley & James - 06/25/10 09:10 PM
I had an awesome wedding with two beautiful clients, Carley and James. Raleigh Wedding Photographers have a wide variety of churches and venues to work in but the Wake Chapel is unique in the fact it was built in 1856. On a happy note AC was installed in the chapel at some point as the temperature outside was a steamy 99 degrees. I hope you enjoy a few of their wedding photos!

In the middle of April I had the great fortune of working with Carly on her bridal portrait at the gorgeous Duke Gardens in Durham, NC. Raleigh Bridal portraits are very popular and with venues such as the gardens, we have great areas to photograph them in. Carly is an absolute dream with and I'll be posting more of her wedding photos soon!

Out of so many beautiful places in the Raleigh & Durham, NC area to get married, Duke Chapel Weddings are certainly one of the most prominent and recognizable. Meri & Wade were married on June 12th, 2010 at the Chapel with a full choir, of which Wade is a member, performing during the ceremony. While I find all weddings are full of emotion, jo & happiness, I actally got chills while they sang Ava maria in this gothic chapel.

While I love photographing weddings in all of the expected wedding locations around Raleigh and North Carolina, I am always up for a more unique setting! This weekend I had just that - a Durham Life and Science Museum Wedding that had all kinds of unique elements. Dinsoaurs, wolves, bears, beautiful landscaping and, my favorite, a train that was reserved for the wedding party. I hope you enjoy a few choice photos below.

What a wedding season so far! My latest clients wanted a Washington Duke Inn Wedding with both a traditional Hindu and Jewish wedding ceremony. Needless to say the entire day was filled with beautiful ceremonial elements and, at one point, the groom was on a horse riding into the wedding. Here are a few photographs from the wedding!

Duke Gardens is a beautiful garden on Duke Campus in Durham, NC. With 40 acres of immaculately manicured trails, bridges and lakes, the Gardens are a favorite place of mine for weddings and engagement sessions. The Duke Gardens has so many diverse areas that each time I am out there with a client, I find a new place or new angle that I hadn't seen before.
