photographik is giving brides 2 be something to talk about... Literally.

The first ever $1500 GIVEaway has begun. It’s simple. Brides, write a story about how you got engaged, publish it on photographik and tell your friends about your article so they can vote for you. That’s it.

1. If your wedding is to be concluded before December 15, 2008, you are not eligible for this contest.
2. The photographer you are using or will use must be a Directory member in good standing with photographik Inc. and have an active listing on the photographik.org website currently and at the time of your wedding. If your entry wins and your photographer ends his or her membership before the contest is concluded, you must select a different photographer for your wedding.
3. All entries must be truthful and accurate. We encourage all entrants to operate by the honor system. Let’s have fun with this and make it an honest, fair contest!
4. If it is discovered that the winning entry is inaccurate, embellished, fabricated or otherwise proven false, the winner shall be forfeit and the $1500 wedding photography credit will go to the runner-up.
5. The winning engagement story will be announced the December 15, 2008. The winner (and the selected photographer) will be notified by photographik.
6. A check for $1500 will be mailed directly to the photographer to be used towards the wedding photography package the winner selects. The $1500 is for wedding photography only and thus will be delivered directly to the selected photographer.
7. If the winner’s wedding is cancelled for any reason, the photographer must refund the $1500 to photographik. The money will then be given to the runner-up’s photographer of choice.
8. All contestants agree that photographik has the right to host and feature their entry on the photographik.org website for as long as photographik chooses to do so.
9. Only one vote per entry is permitted. Vote on as many entries as you’d like but please, only vote once.
10. No relative of the photographik Inc. team is eligible to win the GiveAway.
11. An active email account is required to be able to vote. One vote per entry per email account. Voting can only be done online.
12. The participant may invite as many family and friends as they wish to vote for their entry.
13. The entrant is free to link to their entry on photographik on their blog or website.
14. At this time photographik requires all entries to be posted in the English language.
